It will bolt up, yes. What chassis is it going into though? They switched from cable-actuated to hydraulic transmissions with the start of the 92-95 body style, so if the 90 transmission is going into the 94 chassis then you'll need to do some converting. If the 94 engine is going into the 90 chassis however, then you'll be fine...

Wait a minute, what engine came in the ESI? As long as they're both D-series engines you interchange transmissions. If you're wanting to put a B-series in it though, then that's not going to work. You would need a B-series transmission...
