I bought this b16a block ,the top surface deck was damaged from shipping.My question is ,Is it ok to resurface the deck and use thicker head gasket?. I want to resurface about .010 inch.thanks

you can probably resurface .010 and still use a normal head gasket. you'll even enjoy a little compression bump!
