Exhaust

[H22 Fan]

so i have a full catback Tanabe exhaust but the muffler is cracked/broken
i must of hit a bump and cause the muffler to break
i was wondering if i put a stock muffler/tip...would it affect my performance or stress the engine??
i wanna keep the whole tanabe exhaust system but w/o the loud disruptible noise<<<(get pulled over all the time)

The stock muffler would probably be more restrictive, but it'd be quiet.
