Umm, no. actually it will raise you compression slightly. The flow differences are so minimal between the two head that it makes no difference. The only time you would see a significant difference (the B16 head supposedly flows better) is on a full race engine. But in that case you should be getting some port work done so the flow characteristics of the stock casting would mean nothing to you.
