gsr trans mount issues

I have an EG hatch w/ a poor mans type R. My top trans mount(not torque mount)is dis-connected from the case. There are no threads left in the case for the bolts. My question is do i need a new case? or can i re-tap the holes, and if so were could i get the over-sized hardware? Has any one else ran into this? Sorry if this is in the wrong spot.

Also i really dont want to helicoil. Thanks

I'm sure you could tap it the next size up, but why not use helicoil?

i just don't think it would hold, i feel like it wpuld be more like a band-aid then a perminant fix.

How did these even come out? Those studs don't move....

idk, heavy vibration, launches, poly inserts, or prob a combo of all three. to be honest i bought it like that. lol

the nuts tend to seize to the threads of the stud. i've seen the holes get stripped out pretty easily, the one bolt more than the studs though..
