h22a coil

I just bought a 92 prelude with a h22a motor it has a factory mounted externall coil that is not being used what is up with that is it right or what ,and the factory wire harness goes to it any help please thie is new to me thanks

the h22 has an internal coil, the h23 has an external, although im not to sure about jdm but im farly sure its the same, post up pics for better help

i too have the same car. ok h23 has external coil. but the h22a is enternal coil. so who ever did the swap never took out the oem h23 coil. just take it out.

or leave it in and you can use the usdm h23 distributor if your h22 dizzy ever goes bad (what i ended up having to do).
