i have a 91 prelude (b21a1) and i am currently doing head work on the car i was thinking of shaving the head to raise the compression. i was wondering what would be a good amount to shave it while keeping streetability. i also dont want to have to run any higher than 93 octane gas. i was also wondering what kind of power gains i would be getting out of this. is it worth it or not?

I would find some other way to raise compression by either getting high compression pistons and a thinner head gasket. The only time it is a good time to shave the head is when your head is worped.

yea, any higher than .030 and you run a high risk of bending a valve
