Highschool nationals were today. Couldn't ask for any better weather. Anyways here it goes. Keep in mind the fastest I have ever ran at milan was a 15.199999 and 14.9999 at martin (which everyone gets better times at)
It is bracket racing with dial in times...
Get there, Figuring my past milan experiences, I would set my dail in at 15.1. On my only time trial run, I run a 14.88@93.33mph and thats with hitting the rev limmiter in 1st. So I set my dial in time at 14.8.
First run that counts, I am up against an old truck, pust his dial in as a 14.04. I run a decent light (.624) slow 60ft (2.33) and run a 14.774@92.94mph. I brake out, he fouls out, I win. Again I hit rev limiter in first. So I set my Dial in time at 14.7
Up against a z28, he sets his Dial in a 14.8. I had a horrible launch and just spun my tires like crazy. I run a 14.9@93.94mph.
Not really thinking, I raise my Dial in time back to a 14.8. Didn't really take into account that my ET speed was the best of the day, and I spun all of first.
Up against this chick in a old 60's ford station wagon. Her dial in time is a 14.9. (Cute chick + after talking to her, she was really into cars. I think I am in love
) Off the line, I am perfect. A little wheel hop, but not much, zero wheel spin. Hit second perfectly, no chirp. I am about 3/4ths the way done, she is pretty far behind me. Not wanting to brake out, I let off. She is still pretty far behind me, so I lightly press the brakes.
She gets off at the first exit, I go to the end. She goes to pick up the slip, she gets handed the WHITE one. I get mine, I ended up running a 14.751@82.98 MPH. I broke out. URRGG. Dumb move on my part changing my Dial in.
WTF. I run my best run of the day, and brakes were even involved.

Run great all day. Make a dumb move changing my dial in, mixed with downhillness, and I run a 14.75 WITH brakes at the end.
If I could run my car like I did the last run, I think that I could get into the 14.6's, maybe even high 14.5's
Here are my 2nd and last time slips...
