HKS 40mm wastegate

Im helping a guy out (over the phone) with a build-up on an H22 turbo. The problem is, when we look for manifolds, everyone has that stupid 38mm flange on the h22 manifolds. To avoid welding, i was wondering if the HKS Standard 40mm wastegate will fit on that flange. It looks like itll be the same size, but im just not positive. Anyone know for sure?

seriously, out of all you turbo freaks out there, no one knows whether or not this will fit on a standard 38mm flange.

thats the dump flange that appears to be standard 38mm, the 40mm part is that big square flange on the bottom

35/38 share a 2-bolt deisgn.
. 40 is larger and 4-bolt.

tial gets my choice over anything else out there. i never spiked once (as a result of the wastegate anyway) on my stupid big turbo

you had it long enough to get into boost, b? Honestly thought, why you making such a huge deal about a 38 versus a 40? How much pressure is he running?
