well i use IIS because its free...apache...not so free.

Since the only people that use our website are the dealers that we work for, if it goes down, they call us, we reboot, the end.

Until we need it up 24/7 i guess iis will work okay.

If you put apache on xp, you have to do a bunch of shit to allow incoming connections tho, the router needs to support port forwarding, and go create a rule to allow incoming connections on the specified port in the FW.
Just in case you wonder why localhost works, and other people can't get to it. :lol:
 
I'm running apache on a novell server and it's never gone dowwn or had a problem.
