There's already a Pioneer head unit installed. And I do have a minor problem with the HVAC controls. They work perfect but sometimes on start up it won't light up for a few minutes.

I couldn't figure out how the alarm works anyway, I don't have the remote, but it does honk after locking the doors and the Diode in the Hazards blinks. I'm going to the Audi dealer to check about the remote.

What the fuck is with the "ski sack". Took me a minute to figure out what the hell it was, I thought it was a blow up pillow or something for the rear passengers till I whgipped out the trusty manual.
 
i know on passats there was a recall for the front lower control arms, i'm pretty sure this affected teh a4's also because they are teh same chassis

do you have climatronic or reg A/C controls???

just pull the radio out and check the wiring. the will be a sheilded wire(i thinks it blue) if they tapped that for power it coulds screw things up
 
i'd assume it's the climatronic. It's completely digital.

I'll pull the radio today.
