With my CX Hatch with no tach, is a cluster WITH a tach just plug and play so long as its still an EG Cluster?

im not sure on this so dont quote me, but i think it is just plug and play.

Plugged it in, and the Tach is working, but the Speedo doesn't seem to be accruate any more, and the Cruise Control light is turning on as though it were my old Shift light from the CX cluster
