allright so ive came to another coclusion,
everone says go b series. from alot of you guys to all my friends
i wanna hear from some of the d series guys, what kind of power theyve made, (no spray n no boost)
heres what my setup should be when im done-

00 ex coupe.
d16y8 head- mild cam, springs and retainers.. valves?
d16y7 block- block gaurd
ex tranny

i want some input from thed guys (prob injen)

don't bother with the block guard... completely unnecessary.

you're looking at 130-145bhp, or 110-120 to the wheels on that build... depending on cam.

then is a cam really even worth that money?
iu mean for a sohc

Depends on how far you're willing to go. Plenty of guys hitting 145-150whp with off-the-shelf parts(main components are Crower Stg 3 cam and ITB's or modified intake manifold) and P29s(non-optimal; PG6s are better choice), and tuning of course.

With Bisimoto parts, you can definitely get a little more power than you could with other parts(most of Bisimoto parts are custom-spec'd to order).
