real estate taxes but i think the figures aren't right

approx taxes of $2400 per year for a $190K house in cali?

the MLS listing should show taxes in it

I like the first one.

Don't be like me and look at 4 houses, then buy the first one you looked at.

190K at 5% = 1019.96 a month
190K at 6% = 1139.15 a month
190K at 7% = 1264.07 a month
190K at 8% = 1394.15 a month
190K at 9% = 1528.78 a month
190K at 10% = 1667.38 a month

if you put down $9000 on 190K your monthly's will look like this

181K at 5% = 971.65 a month
181K at 6% = 1085.19 a month
181K at 7% = 1204.20 a month
181K at 8% = 1328.11 a month
181K at 9% = 1456.36 a month
181K at 10% = 1588.40 a month

so do i.. but i wont know if i really do like it until i see it tomorrow.. i plan to look at several houses before i make my decision .. the woman has her eyes set on the pool.. haha.. but thats more money a month for pool maintenance.. (good thing i have a good friend who does pools on the weekends).. so we'll see.. whatever i look at i'll take my own pics while i'm there so i can sit at home and look over all of them at once

a pool is a nice thing, but a pain in the ass. usually pool service isn't that much a month. I once had a bright idea that I could do it myself (after all it didn't look that hard). By the time I was done fucking up the water in it, scrubbing it, skiming, vacuming, replacing filters I didin't even want to look at the damn thing much less swim in it. that lasted for 2 months, then I called the service and begged them to come back.

haha.. yea.. the summers here get extremely hot .. i had the idea that i could just do it myself, but then remembered a buddy is trying to get a business going

the pool i mentioned was in a house i was renting. the person who owned it thought that the pine trees would provide good shad in the backyard, except the backyard wasn't big enough for the pool and the trees. so the pine trees were close to the pool and constantly filled it with pine needles and/or pinecones. not only did it fuck up the ph of the water, but required constant skiming and vacuming, and pine needles are hell on pool filters.

Fuck that dude... move here, buy a house around 1200 square feet for 80k.

You can finance the closing costs. You'll pay them up front and then be given a check.

Also, 200,000 will result in $12,000 not 7.

i'm sure i could find something similar here, but it'll be a shithole in a very bad neighborhood .. moving out of state is not an option..

Hey he can park his Honda out front and chances are it won't be stolen overnight. ;)

My Honda is parked out front. :)

Of course i have the steering wheel off and the ecu removed. :p

well, we've decided this house is best for us.. my offer on it is $130,000 starting out and we'll work from there..
the monthly payment will be about $900 or less..very doable ..
