If you have the entire suspension and drivetrain from another car, and you have the know-how to weld it all into position, build your suspension mount points into your chassis and line it all up. Depending on where you end up mounting your engine and transmission, you can get all the measurements and take them to a competent driveshaft shop and they can build a driveshaft for you that will connect the transmission output to your rear end / differential.
 
Yes this swap is possible. More fabrication ability needed compared to your average swap. Certain skill set required. A skill set most have yet to aquire. Dilbertskate is jaded by the copious amount of talkers that never do much (mostly with swaps much easier than this). Probability (based on data) that you truly get into this project is pretty low....but possible. We will see.
 
The Del Sol as it sits now. With a built and boosted B18 courtesy of a good friend of mine. This is no longer the direction I’m heading in I’m looking at a 1980 fiat 124 Spyder should be picking it up this weekend.
