Just need a little input on my swap!

Hey. i was just wondering im new to the whole swapping deal.. i have a 94 honda civic sedan with a D15b7 in it.. cold air a few other things.. it got old so i wanted to do something different lol.. so i just bought a B16A motor to put in it.. my uncle he does motor swaps all the time so he will be helping me with it.. so my question is... did i make the right choice an will it be worth it when im done?? thanks guys

yes it will be worth it there good motors but we have no clue what your goal is as far as power so it might not be worth it

Yeah well i dont really have a huge goal. all i know is i think my HP rating for the stock D series is like 102. think the B series is like what 170.. just looking for a lil more kick for the street tired of my old 1.5. so what should i expect when i get this put in.

this D15b7 i got now the first tranny i had in it lasted me a long time.. then finally i was driving an it blew every gear. so i went an pulled a tranny out of a hatch.. 1 an second fly but when i hit 3rd seems to bog then gets a to speed then goes. an 4th an 5th are nothing..

Cool man way down south here (mobile). so like whats the top speed on the B16. not that i do high speeds hardly ever.just wondered. i topped my stock D15 out at 122.

im not real sure if you had a chipped ecu it should top out more than that but if you use the b16 tranny it will have alot shorter gears

hey another question for the future. can i buy just the coilovers an place them on my stock struts to lower it. a friend of mine gave me some coilovers an struts an i put them on but even turned all the way up. the wheels were still almost all the way up in the fender well. thing the springs were to short.
