LS VTEC Horsies

My friend wants to do a LS VTEC swap in his '95 Civic DX, coupe. How much HP will the motor put out? He said 240HP....and for some reason i dont believe him! Help me out!

Maybe a high boosted and tuned Ls/Vtec.

But stock? Uhmm... somewhere around 145 i'd immagine.
