im thinking about takeing apart my b18c1 enging and maken a ls/vtec since i herd that the ls/vtec is better because it has more torque and good top end. so what do you guys think? i need sum advice
LSvtec is good when...you can fully build the block and don't have a working GSR, have a great deal on a LS block and don't have a working GSR, or have an LS and want more power without buying a whole GSR.
If you have a running GSR you'd be a fool to swap the block.
usually people build an lsv because the cant afford a gsr and the have some parts already.....i would keep the gsr and buy an ls crank and rods just knife edge the crank enough to clear the oil squirters...and you have the nicest lsv you can build....its an ls in a gsr block...
