my moms best friends son was a passanger not wearing his seat belt the car was pulled over the cop went to the passanger window and gave him a ticket for I think 75 or 100 bucks and 1 or 2 points it happened awhile ago but it was atlest 1 point
it changes depending on what county youre in but most are high fines and points in some cases you will see signs for up to 500 bucks for no seatbelt

99.9% of the time seat belts save your life
once again its up to the driver to wear his/her seat belt but if you get into my car I will not go anywhere unless you put it on
