I still think the front bumper looks a wee bit too big for the rest of the car. The hood is sexy though.

did this today...

I finally changed the oil in Gustave yesterday. He's got 4499 miles on him.

Chris heard me on the phone spinnin' tires and drifting across a lane trying to avoid being hit by a minivan. Lol.

BTW: who the hell buys oil that comes in bleach-jugs?

And wtf@ all the orange RTV? Use some teflon tape.

first filter change since last august.

its lucas oil.

teflon tape no that? yea right.

Lucas, as in "Prince of Darkness" Lucas? I wouldn't put that shit even in the same garage as my car.....

EDIT: Nevermind, different Lucas. I'm thinking of the British company.

I have seen RTV head gaskets.

Wow, now that's tempting the gods...... But it'd probably work in an american engine with like 7:1 compression and leaking rings and valve-seats.

Klee has no RTV anywhere but the headlights, and even then it's not really RTV, it's silicone. Gustave has absolutely no RTV, just some clear silicone around the ham radio antenna.

I'm glad it's your bearings, not mine.

EDIUT: If you're saying what I think you're saying. LOL.

All that cylinder-wash.....

he doesnt even say how fast those things are turning over. and i seriously doubt im going to be breaking hundreds in oil pressure.

Lol, that guy's site is so incorrect it's astounding. That's bookmarked in my "funny" section.

The guy tries to be scientific, but it's like he has to do something to invalidate the whole test EVERY TIME, then mention it in his write up.

so the car has been running fine, albeit very high oil pressure starts when ice cold.

got the MSD wired in, and the modded distributor on. car feels alot smoother to rev. now if i just put in the new plugs, wires, cap, and rotor it may be even smoother.

also wired up the foglamps, after sitting on the car... forever.
