maybe a broken or loose wire from the hack job that is causing the problem?

obd2 hack job won't work...an obd2 ecu won't work with an obd1 dizzy, regardelss of if it's hacked right or not.


an obd1 ecu, however, WILL work with a correctly hacked obd1 distributor.


on ebay, look up seller '32pickle'. he sells jumper harnesses for $75 shipped, and they work. i had one. they work.

and as far as an obd2a-obd2b jumper and an obd2b ecu along with an obd2 distributor, yeah it would work.


but i guarangoddamntee you that you're gonna regret it down the line when you start to build your motor.
