o2 sensor on 92 civic vx

The O2 sensor code #1 was thrown on my 92 civic vx. I replaced the O2 sensor and after 100 miles the same code came back. What should I try next?

Check your wiring harness and follow the wires for the O2 sensor. How's the socket for where the O2 sensor wires plug into? Or maybe the wiring down there is baked. Maybe your ECU is bad.
