yep, thats what i was going to say before i read the post.
the analogy is close, but it would be better if you were using the GM rather than the players. the factory workers aren't the ones causing the problems, and neither is the outfielder.
there's a good bit of factory workers who are responsible, though. its the ones who are so heavily unionized that they expect to make $20/hr doin nothin; the ones who get drunk on their lunch break; the ones who get fired but still get 6 mos. pay; the ones who practice AMP(Aint My Problem). that kind of attitude results in a shittily built car.
