Doin work!!!
I am installing an OBD1 F22b1 engine into a 96 Accord. I've had the engine for a while and was tryin to save a friend from having to buy another so I was trying to do this one as cheap as possible. When we got the old engine out, it apperantly got extremely hot and melted a portion of the timing belt cover, as well as the crank position sensor. The oil pump is all jacked up, and the wiring to the sensor is melted as well. Does anyone know if someone makes a jumper harness to do away with this sensor? I have a distributor for the OBD1 engine, but a way different plug. I know buying a 96 oil pump and sensor would be the fix, but we're tryin to keep it cheap. Any ideas? Any help would be appreciated thanks
