thats what happens when u snap a rod and all it does is puncture holes into the block...was with a friend when it happend to him....we were just hwy cruisin bout 4 hours away from home and shit started to sound funny...so we started to slow down and when the tranny downshifted (auto) thats when it went lol

This is not the first time I have heard this happen. I have heard at least 5 stories of this happening. One guy was in 6th and droped it into first (kinda missed 3rd) Engine go boom. Acura really needs to put a safety lock on the tranny so you can't do that over x amount of speed like how they ussed to.
