Technically? Yes, but a chipped P28 or a stock P30 would be better.

it will work, but the vtec cross over will be too low for that head, also the ecu will be looking for that secondary butterfly.

is he aware that the ITR IM wont' bolt up to that head without some welding, drilling, tapping??

the itr head has its intake manifold on it already. is that still a problem?
vtec cross over too low is that bad for motor or performance.

Not really. The ECU will work fine. I am running a B16 head with ITR cams and a P72 ECU. THe XOver is a little low because the motor bogs when VTEC engages. The ECU doesn't care that the secondary butterflies aren't there.

the ECU that came with my jdm 97 b18c (sir)37820-p72-013
its obd2 for sure. should i expect it to bog with p72. is there any other
alternative like 97 p30 obd2.

Mine is OBD1, I don't know if the OBD2 throws a code when you don't have the secondary butterflies, but the OBD1 doesn't care.

EDIT: I'd be willing to bet that the OBD2 doesn't care either because the Skunk2 manifold does not have secondaries and it doesn't cause the ECU to throw codes.

If you change the low RPM Vtec engagement reprograming the ECU, andf the ECU does not care about the two stage butterfly, there should not be any problems right?
