We're also getting a lot of new members the past few days too. I think the Big G did a re-index of us and got us re-ranking again for some terms. A little spam is worth it.

Speaking of... How the heck do you fight all the spam members? All manually? My little minecraft forum gets 20-50 captcha-accepted spam members a week that I have to manually delete. I haven't even opened the site yet!

He have the spam decimator plugin installed which is a 2-click ban member + delete all posts.
we run a q/a style captcha. image based ones have all been hacked.

Luckily for these forums, we also have mods that troll them all day long....it's SUPER easy to ban people.
