please help - 97 accord f22b2 head gasket replacement; total n00b

I need to replace my head gasket for my 97 honda accord special edition

I've never really worked on cars before, but i can only afford to buy the parts right now, so i figured why not go ahead and learn.

I plan on picking up a manual along with the parts and i found this guide: https://hondaswap.com/general-tech-articles/how-change-head-gasket-lots-pics-71528/
...well, among a few others as well.

I was just wondering if there are any other good tips i should know about and exactly what tools i should have on hand...i have access to the tools just not the labor.

the most important thing is to label all your valves and rods to ensure that they go back in the same exact place they came out of

you are also gonna need a torque wrench.. very very important!

valves and rods? he's doing a head gasket, not rebuilding a motor. when you unhook all your hoses and wires going to the head and label them since this is your first time.
