is there a way I can just take the belt off the ps, I dont want to go thru taking the pump off and everything, I just dont want ps

yeah
pop the hood
find the belt that goes to the PS
remove it (loosen the tensioner and the bolts on the PS pump and take the belt off... or just cut the fucker off)

how does it work when you swap a h22 and dont keep PS

you either get a manual rack or you loop the lines on the PS rack (there are several methods for doing that)
