That was awesome. I can apply the same thing to the week I was oncall and decided to go to my mother-in-law's in dallas. Of course got a page, and it took me damn near 20 minutes to respond to something that I could have fixed in under 10 had I gone out to my car, grabbed my laptop, setup my wireless and done it that way. I'm so used to a putty install taking 30 seconds that I didn't realize how long all that took till I got the up alert on my phone (which shows total down time).
