si wiring

i have a 98 ek with si engine wiring. some people tell me all will not work like the the fan and some sensors......is this true...its an ls vtec.

i am not a pro yet but i don't think it will work right only because it your ek is an obd2a and the Si from the 99-00 is obd2b so will will not match up but i am not a pro yet
