I would like to hide a starter button on my 4th Gen Civic. I have a momentary button from the Shack and my location chosen. Does it really make a difference as to whether I use the button to replace turning the key or to replace pushing the clutch? The way I see it, pushing in the clutch is nothing more than a momentary switch on the ignition wire. Could I skip both by wiring the button between the hot to the starter?
