alright, i have a B18C5, if i put the motor in my 94 civic hatch, can i just take it to the shop and have it smog for it and tell them i have it swapped, or what do i need to do first?

Sorry, I cant help you out with that one, but I can say Im glad I live in Canada where none of that matters

if it is a usdm u may be able to pass with some mods OR just give them a big tip before the test

If you live in california, you might get lucky and have the shop smog you regardless.. unlikely.. what you need to do is have all the STOCK components of the B18C5: intake, header, exhaust, o2 senors, blah blah.. and go to a referee and have him check it and give you a nice big sticker that says BAR.. then you can swap in CARB parts and smog away.
