Tial 50mm Bov

hello im new to forced induction to can anybody tell me how a tial 50mm adjustable bov works? can i controller my boost pressure going into the intake with it? thanks

a bov has NOTHING to do with boost pressure. It relives the stress on the turbo from backflow when you let off the gas (TB closes, boosted air has no where to go... saves the turbo from winding up backwards).

a wastegate controls your boost pressure.

yeah i understood that but why would you want different spring rates then?

The wastegate spring is basically the lowest amount of PSI u can run. Say you have a 6lb spring. You cant run any lower than that, but you can stretch the spring to run more. They do have a limit tho.

its just a setting on how fast/strong it releases. it needs to see x before it opens to release. thats all
