That's what they use for most underground water lines. If it can stand the constant pressure of a water line then I would hope it could handle the same pressure with a different medium.

actually read the site. that guy got a letter from the ATF saying that spud guns are not illegal by any federal law, but within city limits you know, they sometimes are
