I think that if tou put the tranny in neutral and spin the wheel, if both wheels spin the same direction, you have lsd... if they spin opposite, then you don't.

In my mind, this should work, but maybe someone can verify this.

your right, just jack up the front, if the tires spin the same direction, you got lsd, wheels spin opposite, no lsd. takes under 5 mins and you dont even pull the wheels off

LS transmissions are geared that way, hence why it takes you forever to get through them.
