Trans swappin question

i have a 91 crx si, i swapped the engine to a 93 si z6 motor,and the only trans i could get for it at the yard was one out of a 88 hf, dont recommend at all, worst gearing ever, great on gas tho. i am getting a 87 si trans for free and wanted to make sure my axles will still work, i heard the inside splines were the same, but want to be sure, thanks

the motors from 87s are different and the tranny bolt pattern would be way off if you bolted it to ur d16....dont bother getting it
