So do you need the evap purge sensor. my old engine; d15b8 had one but the new engine did not come with one or a place to put it anyway. I read on another website that it was needed or else the car would run in a rich condition. as of right now when i give the car throttle black carbon stuff comes out the tail pipe. I also am using the map sensor off the old engine. (new engine b16asir2).
