Use a breather filter or hose from intake?

I currently have a breather filter, but my new intake has a hole to run the hose to the vavle cover. Should i take off the breather filter? What are the pros and cons?

I would, because believe it or not, your engine will run better by allowing you to vent excess air from the crank case quicker. Hardly noticable, but the benefit is there.

if oil is a issue just get a non-vented oil catch can installed.
