if i was to use a vtec controller do i stll need the ecu that is vtec or can i use a non-vtec ecu.

NEED A VTEC ECU to control VTEC,NO VTEC what are yo going to control.

yo dont need a vtec ecu. what you do is you take the vtec controllers vtec input and output solenoid wires and you wire it to the solenoid. i dont reccomend doing this, but it will work. its what ive used in my car for a couple months.
