No, that's the stroke. The bore for ALL D series engines is 75mm. D15 stroke is 84.5mm, D16 is 90mm, and D17 is 94.4mm.

Up from the 56 i have to around 110 or 112. As much as i would love a DOHC head vtec is just soo much cooler in my book. Nothing like hitting that 6200 rpm's and hearing that scream!!!!!!!!!!

The DX head is not DOHC. It's SOHC, has 16 valves and probably a better cam. You want to keep your MPFI if you have it, so you'd want to run one of the higher flowing VTEC intake manifolds if you can dig one up and wire it all together.

The car only has 8 valves is that gonna be a problem?

Maybe i'm out there, and I admit I don't know crap about the ZC engines, but...

Supposedly when the D16Z6 got stamped with "ZC" in Japan from 92-95. I've never seen one before though, so I really don't know for sure if it exists.

if you swap the si pistons you'll get a f*cked up CR (like 14) and you'll go Hella fast...
