i see nothing in that vid that shows its from japan.
impressive nonetheless, but it appears more to be cleanup after an avalanche.

There is a main road through the mountains that is literally buried in snow during the winter. It is closed during winter, but re opened during the spring after a snow plow digs through an average of 17 meters (56 ft.) of snow to uncover it.

yeah, until you hit the wall and 20+ft of compacted snow came down on you.
 
I just couldn't believe how state and local governments couldn't get the roads plowed. I have a friend that just got out of her development for the first time in a week. Her street never got plowed once.

I'm buying an old truck with a plow for next year. I'm not waiting around next year and maybe I can even make a little dough.
 
Holy shit that's a lot of snow. Yeah... I will stick to my weather down here. We might get an inch or two every once in a while, and if we do everything shuts down for a day- so it's random vacation time lol.
