So this guy owed about 5k on the car and about 4.5k on his credit car for the cost of the new engine. Anyways, his plan was to get buy a POS car just to get him by.

I said I would give him 10,000 cash for the car, he says sure...for a while. Calls me up today, says that he can't find a car, so he can't sell it to me. What the fuck? I am basicly giving him his asking price in cash, and he can't find a POS junker for <1000? If you have 10k in your pocket and your looking for a beater, wtf is the problem. If It were me, I would just use some of that money and go to rent a wreck and drive that until I find a car.

What a dumbass. This means he will have to pay one more car payment, one more month of insurance, and the 4500 on his credit card is just racking up intrest. That will be 500+ right there.

I have this week only to buy a scoobie. Next week, I will be back at school in the UP, so its a no go.

Sounds like he's just being an ass. Call him back and tell him the offer stands for the next week. He'll crack if he's hurting (which it sounds like he is).

That won't work. It is a 4 hour drive from me at home (detroit area to Pittsburgh) next week, I am 600 miles or 10-14 (depending on weather) north of detroit. The guy screwed himself. If he calls back, oh darn looks like I can only give him 9 for it.

I am also not 100% about the color, however, it is ok. My favorite colors on the 2.5RS is silver, white, black, and the 00-01 blue (a really dark blue). I really have never seen the red in person.

As long as it's not faded (probably not since it's only 4 yrs old) then it should be okay. That's probably one of the better reds I've seen (via the intarweb)

The story on this one is he had a shop instal a racing cam. Well they installed it wrong, and it fucked up the engine
