Which intake for swaps?

Which do you buy intakes for, the motor or the chassis? EXAMPLE: 1992 hatch with a gsr swap.

AEM JUST released a set of swapped application intakes one of them being for a GSR EG, its not on thier website yet, but give them a call and they should be able to tell you where and when you can get them

It depends on what style intake you get. If you get a Short ram, just get for that engine. The GSR throttle body is 3inchs, and a dseries is only 2.5. There is kinda a size diffrence there.

yeah, but a gsr intake doesnt fit in a EG engine bay, you have to hack part of it off to get it to fit, and then it looks cheap.

ya this may be true but you also have to remember how much lower the TB sits on a gsr IM verse a d15 or d16l....so therefor the eg intake is not gonna work either so basiclly your options are to either modify the gsr intake or just make one from scratch...which if u have the means to do would be your best option

or wait a month till AEM has the swapped ones on their site.
