Which Octane Gas To Use?

I have a B16 SIR-II and i was wondering wtf octane gas to use? When i use 87 it is a little sluggish. 93 or 94 is good tho but i need the crowds opinion.

in my girls GSR it says "Premium Fuel Only".. from that i would take it that.. pretty much same motor.. so.. pretty much same gas.. i have the sir2 and thats all i have ever put in mine

Mine ran fine on 89.

89 might be okay, but id say 91 (or 93 if you got it)

Premium or "Super unleaded" only.

It feels sluggish because it's pulling timing to accomodate the lower octane.

octane = resistance to pre-detonation.

I ran 90 which was the best in NM it was real nice.
i ran some 94 from Indiana, it was pretty nice too..
87 is teh suck.. can't you hear teh ping?

91 is the lowest id use. i use 93.

Nice nice i knew it highest possible. i live in jersey so i heard sunoco has two gas stations in south jersey that sell sunoco gt 100 to the public now that must be some good shit lol.

No doubt that 100 octane would be good, but there's really no need for you to put it in your car.

Sure the engine will run better and cleaner but you will pay way more for the gas to do so.

Just stick to 91 or 93 and you will be fine.

Most of our gas sucks lol. I try to go to shell as much in my civic. And with the turbo soon all I am gonna get is the V-power.
