I have a feeling that Clemens is lying through his teeth. He is trying to cover his ass because he never thought it would go this far. He and Bonds will star in the prison league - don't worry it will still be on ESPN.
i guess capitol hill has nothing better to do than rule over which washed up sports stars used steroids and which didnt.
i don't recognize any of those guys... whats the story behind all this?
I really could care less if he did do it but at least be honest about it. I would have more respect for a player if they came out and said "Hell yeah I used the juice. It wasn't against the rules and I stopped when it became against the policy of the league." I honestly believe most players have used some sort of something at some point.
my boss at fidelity played college ball with clemens down in houston. i talked to my old boss and he said EVERYBODY at that college took it, even him. he says when clemens started there, he was throwing 82-85 mph fastballs. when he was there a couple years and hit the bigs, he started hitting high 90's.
my deal is, 90% of big leagues used something illegal at some point. just not all are getting caught.
the issue is more of the juicing in late 90's early 2000 more than now. and his velocity has fallen off tremendously. look at his stats. he isn't pitching that great anymore.Yeah, there's no doubt in my mind that Clemens was juicing. Seriously, how many guys in their 40s can throw a baseball at 100 mph without a little "help" of some sort?

Nolan Ryan did it and I am 100% convinced that he was not on the juice.
