Which is why you should get an Escort Cosworth, street legal versions with 300 hp, AWD, and a 5 or 6 speed manual.

just like the focus WRC vs the Cosworth Focus. The cosworth focus handles nice, is pretty fast, but it's not the 300 hp of the Cosworth escort, plus no allwheel drive.


There are 2 semi real WRC cars on the market today, the EVO and the STi.

europe does have the focus RS, which is similar to their rally car.

Yea, thats what i was thinking of. It's only fwd. It handles good but not ralley quality.

Blah. And I am in redneck Alabama and if you say anything that has to deal with racing.... they all start talking about NASCAR. Ugh! Yep racing is going around in Circles really fast with a bunch of other ppl that have the same restrictor(sp) plate as you so you all are going the same speed.

There is some places that hold auto-cross but if you say Rally Race they all give you the Bubba Gump look and scratch thier head. I think I need to find me a job in Europe. My passport is still good! Anyone know anyone hiring in Europe?

And the only AWD I would get here in the states would be an STi... the Evo just doesnt look tuff enough for me. I like the way it looks like it is squatting on the ground.

*sigh* Think I will return to the dark corner in the room and sulk some more

watch the top gear focus RS video on kazaa. On there track, it was faster then the EP3 type R and the WRX, said the differatial was great on big sweepers but around tight corners, the car was very darty.
