i said in another forum about my wiring all getting burned up thanks to a fuel leak....

i got another harness, but this one isn't custom-made like the last one i had, so im gonna have to do some wiring on my own...

my question is, on the driver's side, there's a connector that has ( i think) 10 wires. on the B16 harness, theres 13 wires. what goes where, and which ones do i not need?

help would be greatly appreciated.

i think you are going to have some serious problems trying to get that configuration to work...

is all that just like the gauge wiring? or is there more to it than just that?

There is more to it than the guage of wire, the plugs are different, the wires go to different places, and it connects to the chassis different. So basically it is good or extra wire.

i meant gauge, as in gauges, i.e. speedometer, tach, etc.

so is the plug thats on the drivers side just the wires that go to the gauges, or is there more stuff there?

the wires going to the gauges come from the ecu

the harness on the driver side of the motor are for things like ignition, lights, etc.
I don't know what all the wires do though

but you are going to have alot of probs because the obd0 and obd2 plugs are totally different [to the best of my knowledge]
I think you would be better off spending some money and getting an engine harness from a 6th gen ex or si or something

best of luck though
