wont start

Hello,
I have an 89 sir ef9 civic. The problem i have is that it wont even turn over. When i go to turn the car on i get the engine check and cat converter light really dim. The other lights on the dash come up ok. When i go to turn it on there is nothing there at all. Anyone had this problem before or know how to fix it? thanx

i had it on my 90 integra but it was the distributor rotor and than it became my timing was off too

make sure your motor ground wire is hooked up
