ZC DOHC HEAD SWAP ?

we're trying to make my friends 88 ef hatch into a dohc slammer, but hes low on the flow and we dont wana buy parts that we dont need. Would a dohc zc head bolt onto and work correctly on our jdm sohc ZC block ???

Easy- throw the DOHC ZC pistons into the SOHC ZC block, get a hotter cam and you're good to go.

Yeah either the DOHC ZC pistons or sometimes it is easier to find d16a9 pistons, and you will have a rockin' little SOHC. And for the cam I would check out http://exospeed.com/ for the cam, you will need the same cam as in a 88-91 civic/crx si (d16a6).
